Perfect in Pink

We couldn't wait to show you pictures from this wedding. We're told the professional pictures will be released in about 2 weeks. Once we get our hands on them we'll share more. Here's what we shot on our own.

Chris and Heather

The Winter/Spring issue of Pacific Weddings features "Beloved" a family celebration in Hanalei Bay, Kauai.

Here are some of our favorite pics from the event. It was gorgeous - the tables were dressed with our Platinum Pintuck Linen, gorgeous Glass Beaded Chargers, a fabulous Rock Runner (OMG, you have got to see this!), and flowers that reflected the couples modern asthetic.

OK, couldn't find a good picture of them in the professional shots. But the rock runners were beyond fabulous on those fierce Platinum Pintucks.

Before and After....

When we first saw this venue we were completly devistated. We were given the goal to transform this into a room with a Modern Beachy Feel, inspired by South Beach.

Seriously, doesn't the BEFORE picture remind you of the Golden Girls? Make's you want cheesecake doesn't it!
We draped the whole room in white chiffon, and created aqua canvas blocks for pops of color against the walls. Ditched the venues chairs, bringing in our Chivari's and including these fabulous white pintuck linens and lamour runners and napkins.
Remember those hideous chandeliers? Gone! Meet the new aqua block lanterns!
And of course, the stunning Phaleonopsis orchid arrangements. Aqua sea-glass accents with candles and mini clear glass balls with blooms inside each vase.
Don't forget the details!

Viola! Welcome to South Beach....

BTW, the GM said the venue hadn't ever looked so good.

Here's a photo from a recent wedding in Florida (Kristi Anderson), we also did her sister Lisa's wedding here in Kauai.

The wedding was between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach at Lighthouse Point.

More fabulous pictures coming soon!

What's it all about?...

It's ALL about food...guess you had to be there.

It's a joke we have around the design studio. We have our group of eaters/non-eaters.

These photos of an event we did for Microsoft say it all....because what's it all about?

Beachy Chic!

Gelston did an amazing job as photog on this event we designed for Lisa and Stephen for their Poipu wedding. We had such a great time creating this event and the couple was so easy to work with. They told us their colors and desire to incorporate shells and bamboo - the word they used to describe what they wanted was 'Beachy Chic". We ran with it and had a great time making their dreams come true.

Tremendous Tents

It's been a while. We've been busy designing away in the studio since April which has left little office time to keep up on the blog. This will change in the coming weeks and we'll devote more time to share what we've been creating. Here's one of an event we did just 3 weeks ago. Deanna was the Beauty on Duty - we just love working with her and her team. The photog was kind enough to share these photos with us. Enjoy, we did!

Simple. Understated.

Not much to this design, but the simplicity is striking. Need I say more... ?
