2008 Venues with Vision - Part One

We are often asked our opinion on venues. With so many on Kauai, we figured we'd begin a several part commentary about our fav's from events we did this past year. We'll throw in a couple from our travels to San Francisco and Texas too - stay tuned and enjoy!

This $8M ostentatious estate tops our list for its architectural details and vistas.   Available for use for weddings and events its just moments from Kauai's Kilauea Bay.

Impeccable landscaping lines this delightful drive.

As you enter, cross this plantation harvested teak bridge over the vast pools. Words can't describe how amazing this is.
True Hawaiian architecture gives sense of place and offers a true indoor/outdoor environment.
(What you don't see in this picture is the swim up Tiki bar and Waterfalls at the opposite side of the pools!)

A view from the ponds surrounding the estate give a glimpse at the exapansive lawns. Perfect for an outdoor soirée. Even further out catch a glimpse of Kilauea bay and Kauai's bluffs and blue oceans.

This plantation style catholic church on Kauai is like no other. Quaint, charming, and nestled in a coconut palm lined valley surrounded by dormant volcanic mountains. Can you say "Postcard!"?

And 2,500 miles away...from the city that stole our hearts...San Francisco.
A view of the Transamerica building and Alcatraz from this world famous hotel simply can't be beat.

To be continued...
